Having owned a 335i e90, i can say with some authority that you'll want a cpo *and* hopefully any oem warranty.
I have an m3 ragtop and love it, but would love it more if it had the hardtop convertible rather than the cloth top. Roof would go thru partial. The 8 most common bmw n54 135i, 335i, 535i engine problems. Operated by a simple switch in the center console, bmw says it takes 22 seconds to lower the top and 23 seconds to raise it.
