20+ Drivetrain Malfunction Bmw 335I
Pics. What does drivetrain malfunction mean? I ran the diagnostic test and it displayed i had some other faults and the two engine faults below my 2011 335ix recently got the 'engine malfunction!

Last summer ago i got the drivetrain malfunction twice when at full throttle going through 4th gear redline to 5th gear. There's a recall from bmw on the 4.4l v8 f01 for the timing chain, fuel injectors and fuel injector rails. Got this message during a track session drivetrain malfunction.
Got a 2013 335i msport manual trans and keep getting this malfunction only in comfort mode when i drive it in sport+ no problems but i have to turn the car on and off to get rid of the malf.
