How was the ac compressor pulley spinning with the belt removed?
2005 bmw 3 series 325ci convertible rwd. Many cars come with a sticker in the engine bay that shows exactly how the serpentine belt is supposed to be routed through the various pulleys on the engine. The tensioner, the belt lettering that says bmw is more worn out on the inside i just got finished replacing the serpentine belt on my 07 335i, and this thread. I highly recommend the dayco poly cog belt from advanced auto parts (same store as checker, parts america, etc) any auto parts store carries belts so its up to you and they will assist.
