So far bmw has provided no proof that they know the root cause(s) of the 335i hpfp failures that have existed for five consumer reports rates the 335i as worse to much worse than average reliability.
Bmw's 335i model is no slouch when it comes to performance, but the company decided to step it up for the 2011 model year, offering a 335is model.
For 2014, the 3 series loses its coupe and convertible body styles, as the new 4 based on the same chassis, the bmw 328i and 335i share nearly every exterior dimension. Both of these cars use a 3.0l twin turbo i6 engine but that is where the similarities end for the engines. My first choice would probably be a new 335is coupe, but i want to know how different it is from the base 335i coupe and what the advantages of the car would be over what i have now. Both cars are completely stock.
