Pictures. Those issues were addressed early with recalls on. In my time as an owner, i can say it is significantly more expensive than an economy car in basic maintenance and the 'known issues' such as coil pack, water pump, and various gasket failures are to be expected.

I bought it last october and it's run perfect since. Very happy with my '09 335i sedan. The old engine is the n54 twin turbo engine which has had high pressure fuel pump(hpfp) issues and some other issues like the wastegate.
I agree the c350 is a better looking car then the 335i sedan, but the 335i coupe is a much better looker then the c350.
How much has my 2009 bmw cost in maintenance and repairs? I bought this pre owned 08 bmw 335xi, m sport with 32k on it, it's really easy to drive and live with everyday i've owned 3,5, and 7 series bmw models. In general, i have found the vehicle to be pretty sturdy and reliable, especially compared to the three previous 7 series i owned. The 335i is the best driving bmw i've ever driven, and among the top three automobiles, i've experienced this millennium.
