I did just remove the glove box so i would have better spots to place the clamps, and to avoid getting glue where i didnt want to.

If not, try the fuses behind the glove box since the battery and most of the wiring.
So i took off the fuse box cover and looked inside to try and figure out what the issue was. The latch to my glove box has broken twice. Push in (closing) the glove box door and see if you can then turn it while doing so. Select your year, make, model above to see detailed fit information.
