Background. showing the capabilities of the electronic limited slip differential of the 135i i just dont understand why bmw doesn't put it in the 335. So, if its not an m3 or m5 your car does not have power going to both wheels at the same time.

Limited slip diffs only transfer torque from the wheel with less traction. Its made by drexler in germany and a $0 core item. Limited slip differentials do not actually vary the torque split between axles.
Why the e36 318ti lsd?
30% doesn't sound like enough limited for an lsd. The point of an lsd is to provide power to two wheels instead of one, for better traction. The open differential is just not good enough. Upgrading the m's differential won't be a worthwhile mod since bmw spent a lot of time on this particular differential and to be completely honest, m diffs are the best in the business from what i have tested.
